Why can't I digitize my photos & videos myself?
You could definitely digitize your own media at home. This can sometimes be a tedious and time-consuming job. For someone just getting started, it can take several hours just to figure out how to do it right. At MultiMedia Divas we only use state-of-the-art equipment and a repetitive process to produce cost-effective, high quality restults. After each photo is scanned, we quality check it and adjust color balance, brightness and hue. Also, with our video transfer process, the resulting digital video is of better quality than your original tape.

Our normal turnaround is 1-5 business days. Same-day service may be available for emergency rush jobs. Call us ahead to make sure we can accommodate your schedule.

Couriers like FedEx and UPS are extremely reliable. We've received many orders from all over, and we've never had an incident of a lost package. If you are ordering a photo restoration and don't want to use the mail to send us the original photo, you may have the photo scanned and just send us the digital image either by email or on a CD. Make sure that the photo is scanned with a resolution of at least 400 dpi.

How do I send my photo by email ?
First you must scan your photo. When scanning your photo, you will have to decide at what resolution or DPI (dots per inch) is best or practical. Keep in mind that the storage space and transfer time of an image goes up considerably as DPI increases. To be able to print a 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" photograph, you should scan and save the image with at least a resolution of 300 DPI. Save the file in a JPEG or TIFF format. We can work with many file types but the two mentioned are usually the most commonly available to the home user. Once you have the scanned photo as a file, simply send us an email with the scanned photo file as an attachment.
